English 102 Reflection

This semester was even better especially in English because I was with manager Brandon and Professor Brady as my professor. This semester I would have to say that I learned to be more self-reliant on each pub that I wrote instead of referring to other sources. This semester I realized how much more involved I could be in the class right away compared to last semester. I also feel as a student I was able to learn and be comfortable elaborating on my response rather than just giving the barrier minimum. I learned the true meaning of the stories and reading that we were assigned this semester which helped me write my essays much better.

In my opinion, my favorite parts of the class were the class discussions because it was a lot of fun and fun pretty much every time we had a class discussion. I would also have to say that the group work was my second favorite because I got to work with the most famous manager in the world. His name was Brandon the top G. I felt what I liked in this class in addition to all the other favorites was more kids wanted to participate and have fun which made the class so much fun and easier. I would say that the ideas and concepts I learned were the ability to depict reading and understand the true meaning of the story and the purpose of the reading.  I was also able to learn better how to take the main concepts of the stories and use them in the assignments for the depictions I made and the class made.

From this class, I will be able to take away that when a group is willing to participate the work goes by so much easier and makes it fun and is not busy work. I also feel that from this class I can depict a reading and or scenario and be able to use the key points to write a proper assessment. With this understanding from this class, I will be able to learn how to work with others and also the ability to take an idea and write about it so for example I can write a report to my future clients once I create my construction business.  With these many concepts that I learned in 5 years, I will be able to hopefully right incident reports after missions/calls that I receive as a soldier and also soon after police officer. I will also be able to determine who I can work with or make it work to make solutions. Overall I think I have not only learned a lot and had fun but was able to make more friends in college. I also was able to understand why I need to stay in college besides the doors it opens for my future.

  1. John, it's been a great run with you in EGL 101 and especially this semester. Enjoy your summer and I can't wait to see you on campus during the Fall! We had so much fun and enjoyment this semester, and if only it could last forever. Make sure to keep that letter with you as a remembrance of me, our classmates, the class, and most importantly Professor Brady.
